Heading North to Neligh

First National Bank & Trust Company in Aurora purchased the Neligh facility in November of 1990. It had been a branch of the failed Occidental Savings & Loan Association of Nebraska. The acquisition brought with it $17 million in deposits but no loans. Joe Knight was named President of the Neligh branch, having previously served as Vice President in Stromsburg. The Neligh operation has continued to grow under the leadership of Joe Knight and his Relationship Manager Deb Carden.
