AURORA

Trust Operations

Our growing Trust Department is seeking a motivated team player.  The Trust Operations Team Member provides accounting support for all trust business and is responsible for performing the daily activities associated with recording all asset and account transactions.  This position is part time.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Work with custodian banks to ensure that the data flows into the system and reconcile with the custodian banks daily;
  • Timely and accurately perform general processing functions, such as bill payments, distributions, income postings, tax payments, scheduled transactions to accounting software;
  • Print and mail notices and statements;
  • Process ACH files, wires and checks while functioning within a team under a dual controlled environment;
  • Maintain customer files including opening new accounts on the trust accounting software;
  • Assist in projects as assigned.

Required skills include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of work experience.  Knowledge of accounting and the investment industry helpful but not essential.  Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented with strong organizational skills, strong time management skills, strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team setting, the ability to adapt and be flexible.
